Your content on your webpage, blog, and outside references should be consistently just what your audience is looking for. Although we can’t always predict what our audience wants, we can take a good guess and write quality content. Obviously, our audience doesn’t want to read about something that doesn’t matter to them, and they definitely don’t want to read a sales pitch that boasts about the quality of your product when they’ve never even heard of it. Here are two ways to intrigue your audience with good content writing and marketing.

You’re Not in a Bubble; Don’t Write Like It

You don’t live in a bubble, and your blog posts should reflect a worldly view. For example, you shouldn’t just talk about how your product made someone’s life amazing. Although that’s good for your testimony page, it’s not great for your blog. You should instead focus on real things people say, do, and need. Make your audience picture themselves using your product, and make them see how they would benefit in the long run from purchasing it. They may not purchase right away, but at least you’ve given them a scenario they can use in their everyday lives instead of a case study they can’t relate to.

SEO is Important

We say this tip delicately because if you overdo SEO, you’ll alienate your audience, and that will be the end of any relationship before it even has a chance to thrive. However, you don’t need to be an expert to write content that is SEO friendly, and a decent writer can integrate keywords expertly so that it looks natural (and the article is still helpful). Even just linking phrases that lead to different pages on your website is an excellent start.
